Manhattan Town Center is a 370,000 square-foot regional center located in the heart of downtown Manhattan. It draws from nearby Kansas State University as well as from Fort Riley Army Base. Encompassing more than 50 small shops and full service restaurants, Manhattan Town Center is a destination dining, shopping and cultural center, featuring AMC Dine-in IMAX, Dillard’s, JCPenney and H&M. The Center opened in 1987 as the result of a lengthy and multi-faceted community effort including the City of Manhattan and Kansas State University’s College of Architecture & Design. The architectural design is reflective of Fort Riley’s historic cavalry stables while the rosette logo honors the city’s rich history.
