Cinemark Holdings, Inc., one of the world’s largest and most influential movie theatre companies, in partnership with CenterCal Properties LLC, today announced that it will be expanding its presence in Utah with the addition of a new 14-screen theatre in Mountain View Village located in Riverton.

A 56-unit apartment property at 8462 Whitaker St. in Buena Park has sold for $16.22 million, according to Avison Young, which brokered the deal.

Trottier returns to head CenterCal Utah office
Property development veteran Craig Trottier has been named president of the Intermountain Region of CenterCal Properties, developer of Farmington’s Station Park. Trottier returns to the California-based CenterCal after six years as senior vice president of retail for Trammell Crow Co. in Houston, Texas.

Mountain View Village to Expand, Adding Restaurants, Parks and a Movie Theater
The expansion will include several new multi-story office buildings, retail shops and restaurants as well as five pocket parks and a 14-screen Cinemark Theaters outlet, officials with CenterCal Properties said. Plans also call for a new plaza with a state-of-the-art show fountain and a covered pavilion housing a mix of new food vendors with indoor and outdoor seating.
